About this edition

The sixth edition took place on 27 February 2014 in Orchide's conference room. The speakers were the Balkans director of one of the world's largest funds, a financial analyst and a student who had competed in international student competitions.

Haki Abazi, Balkans director of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, explained how the fund works in the region and the support it offers to individuals and organisations. He also told the story of his path to the position.

Hekuran Murati, a financial analyst and head of the Public Debt Management Unit at the Ministry of Finance, talked about why financial knowledge matters and about Kosovo government securities, both as a way to finance the state budget and as an opportunity for investors.

Kushtrim Palushi, an activist and student, shared his experience in international student competitions: a case before the International Court of Justice and a simulation of the European Council at the Balkan Case Challenge in Vienna, an arbitration case, also in Vienna, and the Harvard model United Nations.

Organised by young activists from Ferizaj, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
