About this edition

The 18th edition took place on Tuesday 30 June 2015 in Orchide's conference room, with the stories of the first Albanian pilot of supersonic jets and of a mountaineer from Ferizaj.

Ali Aliu, the first Albanian to fly the jet and supersonic aircraft of the former Yugoslav People's Army, told how his career began, how he enrolled in flight school and what he lived through in some 6,000 flights and more than 2,700 flying hours, about 2,200 of them in supersonic aircraft.

Kushtrim Palushi, a lawyer by profession, talked about outdoor sports such as hiking, cycling and running, and why physical activity matters for a healthy life. He shared his weekend adventures, including climbing the two highest peaks in the Balkans: Olympus in Greece and Musala in Bulgaria.

Organised by young activists from Ferizaj, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
