About this edition
The 39th edition took place on 31 March 2018 in Orchide's conference room and was about art and culture, with an exhibition and a book of poems.
Arbnor Karaliti, a painting student at the Faculty of Arts in Pristina and co-founder of the HAP group, a community of artists who use contemporary art to address social issues, talked about his exhibition “4 minute walk”, opened on 16 March at the Art Gallery in Ferizaj. It gathered two years of work about things he had “never said and never done”, now expressed in a different way.
Shpëtim Selmani, who holds a master's in acting from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Pristina and works as a stage actor, poet, prose writer and playwright, presented his latest poetry collection, “In the Time of Blood and Disappointment, 2010–2017”, and read some of its poems. The book has three parts and a final chapter, “Letters”, with poems dedicated to literary and artistic figures, some of them the poet's friends.
Organised by BarCamp Ferizaj's team of young activists, under the umbrella of Iniciativa për Progres (INPO), with the support of IPKO Foundation.
