About this edition

The eighth edition took place on Saturday 19 April 2014 at the new n'dritare 2 café, near Ferizaj's theatre. The speakers were an innovative sculptor from Ferizaj, a programmer working with a new generation of programmers and one of the pioneers of comedy shows in Kosovo.

Përparim Behluli, a sculptor from Ferizaj, talked about his work: two finished sculptures and three more in progress. He explained how he built unique sculptures from metal rods and polyester, and how people reacted to his ideas.

Driton Haxhiu, from the technology company Meduza, talked about the “Young Programmers” project with Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK). He showed how ICK was teaching a new generation of programmers, the methods they used and why Ferizaj and Kosovo needed more young programmers.

Heset Maliqi (Quza), director of Quza Art, talked about the company's comedy and satire shows, their success and the firsts it brought, such as the first 3D animation in Kosovo. He also talked about writing for newspapers and how readers took to his columns.

Organised by young activists from Ferizaj, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
