About this edition
The second edition took place on 26 October 2013 in the conference room of Orchide Bar & Restaurant, keeping BarCamp's idea of an informal “unconference”. After the first edition, on activism, this one covered journalism, technology that shapes social life, and a 43-year-old theatre festival.
Afrim Demiri, a journalist at the daily Koha Ditore, talked about the challenges of being a journalist and his years in the profession: the obstacles a journalist meets and how dangerous the work can be in some cases.
Driton Haxhiu, from the technology company Meduza, presented Shëtitu.com, a project to build a digital database of every bus line in Kosovo, so that anyone could look up the lines they needed.
Fatmir Hyseni, director of the “Adriana Abdullahu” Professional Theatre in Ferizaj and a theatre director, talked about the theatre's festival. Its 43rd edition ran on 8–14 October 2013 with companies from Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia, and it is known as one of the oldest and best festivals in the Albanian-speaking lands.
Organised by young activists from Ferizaj, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
