About this edition
The 20th edition took place on Tuesday 20 October 2015 in Orchide's conference room. It covered data analysis and why information technology matters to society, through the sector's main organisation in Kosovo.
Brett Romero talked about a career that spanned three countries and fields from chemistry, economics and statistics to tax policy, finance and data science. It began at Australia's main tax agency and in tax policy, moved to management consulting at Deloitte in the United States, working with large financial institutions, and ended with his move to Kosovo, his work here and his impressions of the country and its people.
Lorik Mullaademi, a manager with professional and academic experience in innovation, technology and business, specialised in business development and in writing and managing projects, worked as a project manager at STIKK, the Kosovo Association of Information and Communication Technology. He talked about exporting IT services, STIKK's Innovation Centre and the sector's lobbying and advocacy.
Organised by young activists from Ferizaj, with the support of IPKO Foundation.
